"This place needs more love!! I had only been to the one in Pella, and when I found out there was one here, I jumped at the chance to get some. The food is good as always, though there seems to be a whole lot more of granola than normal. But otherwise its amazing!!!"

"Delicious! I wish they would sell the coconut sorbet in pints or quarts! One thing that I would as an owner is advertise. I did not realize what it was and I lived in Johnston for 4 years driving by at all the time. I suggest putting the hours on the door and make it look like it's open."

"Average score: 1.5 Stars ⭐️ It was ok for taste. This açai looked premade and was not blended-to-order. Which was fine. That’s just the style of açai to expect. Too much honey was added to the top of my bowl. The server seemed like she didn’t care how much she added. They are not honest with their prices. I was charged $7.50 for the classic instead of $7.00 that was stated on the menu. THEN an extra $1.00 charge for strawberries when it was supposedly included. Upon serving, the server just left it there and did not provide anymore service nor ask how things were during our visit. The server didn’t give a rip that we were new or was even welcoming. Location was ok to find. Parking lot ok. Interior decor is a local Ma and Pa look keeping it…eclectic, I’ll put that kindly. Guess they don’t know how to hire helpful kind service. Food was ok service and environment can use some work."

"The acai classic bowl I had was absolutely amazing!! Fresh fruit, tasty granola, and amazing service. The two ladies working that day gave kind and speedy service as well as a very personalized experience! I will definitely be going back for more!!"

"I discovered Acai bowls in California and was surprised to find a place that made them here - they're delicious! Big Acai is great. They have a lot of options. Everything is fresh and good quality. Service is timely and friendly. I highly recommend it. I've been coming here once a week since I found them. Really one of the few healthy options in the area."
