"I didn’t have an experience, in terms of actual services, because I waited twenty minutes after my appointment time, with no word. When I arrived, there was one client seated, and I was greeted and told to have a seat. I thought another stylist was coming maybe, or she was just a little behind. She went to the back room, and returned with foils and a bowl. And foiled the other client. Again, I waited twenty minutes. In that time, nothing past have a seat was said to me. I doubled checked the text of confirmation I had, and it said 2, so I didn’t have my dates or times wrong. The courtesy of customer service was missing."
"I cannot believe my luck when Theresa returned my messages left when calling Fresh Hair. It took a couple of times but I finally asked if I could make an appointment with her. My hair was way long over do. And to my amazement, it has been one of the best cuts I have ever had!! It looks great natural, curly snd straight and I have like 4c hair. Theresa fixed the issues I had with the way my hair laid. She cut it EXACTLY the way I wanted it. Now my hair is not only cut well but also the way I want it. Theresa also knows what product lines are great for my type of hair. I get compliments. Exquisite cut and craftsmanship."
"I have blonde, naturally curly hair that I was growing out. I hate getting haircuts because no one knows how to cut my hair right. I had seen the stylist on other occasions for color and this time I asked for my longest length to be trimmed. I didn’t want my layers trimmed because I have been trying for a very long time to get it to the length it was. I wanted my shorter layers to catch up to some of the longer stuff. Anyway after she colored my hair and toned it with 11A, something that I never would use alone in my hair. I said that that wasn’t right I liked a mix of AV and P. I don’t know what she put I. The toner but my hair is greenish blue. I couldn’t see in the salon but she totally fried my hair as well. She said when she started putting foils in that she was going to start on the top.. I knew that was wrong and should have made her do it the right was but I just thought she knew what she was doing. All the hair she highlighted towards the top of my head was fried! It gets better.. now she begins to “trim” my hair. I couldn’t see in the mirror because the mirror is much higher than the chair so you would have to be pumped up in order to see properly. She wasn’t cutting my hair like normal, you know holding it up and looking at it she was bent over and going in a circle. I said it feels like your cutting a lot, she said no. I looked down at the floor and then grabbed my hair and it was instant tears. There was 4” of my hair on the ground and I barely had a handful left. I have been crying ever since. She actually took money for what she had done. I look like I got a bowl cut. I said do you normally cut that much hair off without asking the person if that’s what they want. She said I thought you wanted it off. I don’t know what gave her that idea because we had just been talking about braids and I told her I like to French braid my hair often. I couldn’t possibly and won’t be able to braid my hair again for a long, long while. Nor do anything else except wear a baseball hat. I have cried all day, I know it’s just hair but this is traumatizing.I would steer clear away from Fresh Hair."
"I went to Fresh Hair Salon and had a great experience. I am biracial and have 3b curly hair so I'm always hesitant to go to new places. When I moved 10 hours away from my old stylist (who I had been with for 14 years), I was sure that I was going to struggle to find someone who knew how to cut multicultural curly hair (most hairdressers don't know how to work with curly hair, especially multicultural curls). I took a leap of faith and got a cut with Alex and it went so well! It was clear that she knew what she was doing and that made me relax. I came in with my hair dry and described what I wanted and she was so detail-oriented. We began with a dry cut. When I decided half-way through the cut that I wanted my hair to be shorter (I'm the worst), she was quick to pivot and cut a few more inches off! She then washed my hair and then did the final trim. She gave me recommendations of which kinds of products to use since I just moved to the Great Plains a few months ago (the hard water and humidity is much different than where I'm originally from). What I really liked is that she gave me the name of the products she used, but she didn't try to make me buy them. I have established products that work for my hair, and she didn't try to make me change them, she just recommended adding a gel into my routine. To summarize, if you have multicultural curly hair and you're not sure where to go, I would recommend Alex. She knows how to cut level 3 curly hair. I look forwarding to seeing her again in a few months!"
