"Placed a take out order. Was ready in a reasonable time. I ordered Chile Colorado. Was some of the best I have had. Service was courteous. Strongly recommend"
"Used to be a good place to eat, however just went and it seemed like everything was cut in half between portions, salsa was watery even the queso didn't thicken when it cooled to room temp, margaritas had way more ice than typical. I understand the economy but cmon man!!!!!"
"I can't remember the name of my meal but it had steak, chicken and shrimp cooked in a pineapple with cheese sauce! It came with tortillas, rice, beans, lettuce and tomato on the side! It was really good, a little too sweet for me but I think it was due to the pineapple. I had a Jalapeño margarita it was amazing! Will definitely be back to try more things!!"
"It was very good!!! We went around 2:30 and had the lunch portion Nice size. Had chips and salsa. Steak fajitas, Texas burrito with carnita, all pastor. A line margaritas and a Mango strawberry blended Margarita. Very good would definitely go back."
"This is such a new location that opened up not too long ago, that I had to add them myself to Google maps. This location is bigger than what it seems from the outside. The waitress must still be getting her groove because she came with tortilla chips and salsa with 2 napkins and cutlery that I had to reach across the table for. I came in alone and it seems that the tables with more patrons are tended to more as apposed to my lonesome. I ordered the Burrito California and waited for the waitress to come by so that I may order a side of rice and beans with some guacamole because of coarse I did not pay attention that this particular borrito had the rice and beans INSIDE ( My bad!). I did wait a while but I had to flag someone down eventually. The sides came out within minutes. $12 covers the submarine they give.... in other words the size is nice and is o ne expected when the rice and beans is inside so I really couldnt gauge how much meat came in the burrito. I will say the green salsa is very good to me, has a sweetness to it. The white cheese tastes like the average white cheese dip you get from the chips section and the red sauce was also sweet. All sauces were very mild. The carnitas in the burrito were exceptional indeed though. Very good! There virgin Piña Colada was very good and short lived and the whole meal came to $22.13 and much as though I didnt feel it was deserved... I did leave an $8 tip because I'm not a jerk. I might go back for carnita burritos to se the size (I am originally from Chicago illinois where the burritos are 5 bucks and huge but the price jere had them at $10 so I am looking to not be disappointed. A location where Mexican ingredients are hard to come by, have an excuse for such prices with small portions but in IOWA, I seem to not have too many problems getting Hispanic ingredients so I'm hopeful). The photos of the burrito and piña colada, are mine. Update: As promised.... I have order other typical mexican dishes to see how they stand with true mexican food... burritos and Enchiladas Verdes... the burritos are the size of tacos... I was very disappointed. Nothing like true burritos from a true mexican restaurant. I then ordered the Enchiladas (pictured on my desk). Enchiladas are supposed to be drowned in salsa and cheese.... these were soooo dry that it shows in the pictures. Again, if you have never had TRUE Mexican food, I do recommend this restaurant. The very last dish I will be ordering to solidify my rating, will be a torta de milanesa. I will also add I have had to order sides of beans ... normally beans and rice come as the meal but here I have had to order the beans seperate on the enchiladas meal. I have pictures that have all the extras order. I do believe chips and chips salsa comes included. Last update: I come from a family who each family member owned a restaurant in Mexico... so I know my authentic. They do not sell tortas and that's the last thing to decide on the rating. I hope they do well, which they will in a non predominant mexican location, but when it comes to their taste and authentic Mexican food this is not the place for me. I would settle coming g here in a pinch though because their food is fast and easy as in any pick up place and saves time on cooking. As Imentioned, I am not against this place, I'm the one who added them to Google and I am the one that added all of the photos this far, including my pina colada and burrito California as well as the pic in the dark."
