"10/11/2023 We made the 50 minute drive specifically to see if they really have and old fashion 1970's style pizzaburger at their Soda Fountain. THEY DO! Got there about 1 and they were moderately busy. It's a limited menu board, but that is the beauty of a soda fountain. The two gals were busy but friendly and the locals know what they want so that makes it easier for them. We told our server that we heard they had pizza burgers and she confirmed they did, so 2 pizza burgers fries, ice tea and a chocolate shake under $20. We will go back"

"We really wanted to give this place a great star rating because we heard great things about it but I'm a stickler for cleanliness, hand washing and gloves when preparing food all of which DID NOT happen with the 3 cooks/waitresses that were working today. They went from handling money, taking orders with order pads, touching their face for sniffles, pushing their hair out of their face directly to grabbing buns, lettuce and other condiments to put together tenderloins/burgers not once washing their hands or putting on gloves as they handled ours as well as other people's food. For that reason, I only ate the fries because they weren't touched. My husband ate the rest because well he doesn't care if he gets sick or not. He did say the food was good so there is that and the staff were really nice. They just need some serious education on washing their hands!"

"The food was amazing. Had the Tenderloin with fries, only $ 7.29 with tax. The sandwich is huge, waitress told us some people order a 2nd bun to make 2 sandwiches. Highly recommend for good food at a place with am old fashioned soda fountain."

"We came here for a small town lunch experience. The 2 ladies who worked in the food service area were extremely RUDE. When asking about a choice of soup off the menu board, stated didn't have any soup or sandwiches. Their walk in refrigerator was broken so on things from the grill. So what would those item choices be?? She was not interested in explaining. I guess that means hamburgers and fries? Wouldn't the ground beef have been refrigerated prior to cooking....but they don't have a walk in refrigerator....we ate elsewhere. On didn't even look at my husband just kept walking. Try China Cafe. Good food, large portions and friendly service!"
