"Not sure how anyone can not afford to be a member. Suspicious of posters talking long lines...you want long slow lines go to Sams Club. Costco checkers hustle and help customers get through the lines as fast as possible. It's obviously a priority. Pharmacy...ya, there's room for improvement to get customers through quicker. The fuel discount pays for a yearly membership using the Costco VISA. Membership is a no brainer."

"Much like many of the other reviewers, I tried hard to like this place because I like Costco so much. However, there is consistently poor service with long wait times and lack of communication between staff and patients. One time, I called ahead of time to confirm that my prescription would be ready, got there, waited on line for the prescription, was told it was not ready and that it would be another 15 minutes. shopped around for another 15 minutes, came back, and they said that they didn't have the medicine in stock. They were at least two opportunities to tell me that it was pointless to come in that day. These events haven't happened in isolation. Also issues with refilling / renewing prescriptions too."

"I go because it saves me money on my dog's Rx but good lord. The people working the counter have no sense of urgency or care (one woman was chatting with another worker while i was waiting in line. they were trying to fix a pricing gun... while I waited in line....) , and over 60% of the time something goes wrong . I'd say it takes me an average of 40 minutes to get my Rx. I start here first whenever I go because I just figure something will be wrong. Going to see if 1800 pet meds has the same prices...."

"I've tried to like this place, because I shop at Costco. The thing is, the service is better at my local pharmacy and the cost to me is the same. Why would I go to a pharmacy with poor service when it doesn't save me any money? The huge amount of time I wait at Costco pharmacy easily cancels out the convenience of getting my prescriptions at the same place I get my groceries. I don't know if it's the people or the Corporation, but they just don't put any effort into serving the customer."
