Reviews of Olde Brick House
"Felt like we went to Ireland. The food was delicious. The stuffed salmon was fantastic. I also tried the ruban wontons. Those were an unexpected delight. Our waiter was the best. He was outstanding. Will return. Can't recommend it enough."
"Had this for the 1st time and had a GREAT experience! Service was top notch to say the least (Jessica was our server) have not been out for awhile after so many bad experiences all over town but this was HANDS DOWN 150% and we will definitely be back! Service, prices, atmosphere, cleanliness, quality “OFF THE CHARTS FANTASTIC!!!”"
"We had a great first experience at Olde Brick House for lunch! I have to say that this is the best place in town for Irish fare. Admittedly, I was turned off at first by the location and the fact, that it is a small chain, but we were pleasantly surprised. Lunch prices and portions were quite reasonable. This is as true to an Irish pub experience as you will find in the area. Their food and drink menus were diverse but they have a number of distinctly Irish items. Extra points for having magners cider on draft. Food was excellent. The Irish Guinness stew was good but different. A bit mushroom forward. My favorite thing we ordered were the fish and chips. Hand-breaded and fried perfectly. The fish was juicy and flaky. Other places in town that claim to be Irish serve something more similar to fish sticks or chicken tenders. This was the real deal. Service was WONDERFUL. We felt taken care of during our meal even during the busy lunch hour. All in all, I would highly recommend that you check out this place if you have a hankering for a hearty Irish meal."
"I stopped here on a Sunday evening after a movie. It was mostly just to check it out as they just recently opened. I ordered cider and scotch eggs. The bartender was extremely helpful and pleasant and answered all my questions. The waitress that stopped by to say hi was very nice and helpful as well. The scotch eggs were very good with a nice mustard dipping sauce. The cider was excellent. They have some good specials and a great happy hour too. With just a quick in and out, I was very impressed with the service, the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere. The food and drink were very good and prices were reasonable. I would recommend this place for anyone that wants a nice sit down place to eat, drink and socialize. I will update my review once I do a more extensive testing of food, drink and service."
"Great Food, Great Decor, Good Service! Decided to try this place in it's grand opening. Was seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. We ordered the Reuben, Nashville Mac & Cheese "Sans Nashville Sauce", and for Desert the Bailey's Cheese Cake. Food was prompt, well presented and very good. The decor was very Irish Pub. Loved the colors and decorative items. My favorite had to be the bottles. Our waitress was fantastic. Very prompt only wish was to be more on top of our drinks, never got a refill on mine which was empty for a while. The only serious dig I have, was on entry, we requested to be seated in one of many open booths available but was out right refused due to rotation. I understand but accommodations should be made on request considering our actual seat was less than 20 feet from said open booth. We requested it due to both having issues with our backs. Overall I give this place 4.5 out of 5, which will prompt us for a return in the future to try additional menu items!"
