"This is my favorite gas station in the Des Moines area. It's always clean, well stocked, and the people have always been friendly."

"Update date 8/22/2023 A fine example of costumer friendly and community focus retailer. It's August, super hot and humid in iowa. This establishment offered free ice water for the consumer. They had the cooler set up in from of the store with ABSOLUTELY FREE ice water for their customers. I have not seen it here in iowa. Walmart quarterly sales is $161 billion, Casey $3 billion, hyvee $3 billion..not of these retailer offered their customers or the community free ice cold water during the hot and humid iowa weather. Kum&Go, this location is well managed. The management team is super amazing. All the workers are always busy organizing shelves, cleaning, the store, and taking out the trash. I often see their management team emptying the trash bins and working hard. Bravo to this kum&go. I wish more stores are like this one. They should use the management team at this location as a benchmark, they set fine example. Always service with a smile. Always friendly, courteous, and fast customer service."

"Had to test this at my own expense. Second time at a Kum n go. The most I have ever been able to fill up on diesel with the light on for 30 miles is 132 gallons at flying j and loves. Its always 120 to 125 gallons because I fuel before I hit the red. This second time I fill up here before hitting the red and somehow I pump 143 gallons..last time it was 145 gallons? Counter must be messed up at multiple kum n go places?"

"Getting gas yesterday while husband went inside and while inside the cashier bought him his beer and apparently flirting with him. What kind of people do you hire? Buys beer for customers? This was around 230-300 in the afternoon."

"Very well positioned; it is always well kept and looking nice. Although Casey's has flanked all of Altoona, I'd go out of my way for this Kum & Go instead."
