"Most definitely the best pizza in Ankeny. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere along with a full bar area. The place is well staffed with employees who do a great job taking care of patrons. Prices are a bit on the high side, however, you get what you pay for in this instance. We’ll be back many times no doubt!"

"Our first time and we came for the B.O.P. (brick oven pizza).. they sure delivered! We tried the chicken BBQ, the Don and the Formaggi. All amazing on perfectly toasted crust! The service was wonderful and attentive! If you're a fan of brick oven, this is the place to try!"

"Went to try Grimaldi after hearing good reviews from friends. Got seated quickly but services was the worse. Shown the coupon right away to waitress and waitress told us brushetta was included. We proceeded to order the trio brushetta and Brooklyn pizza. The brushetta was ok- bread not toasted. Pizza was not worth the price! The only good part was the crust being crispy! When we bill came the coupon was not taken off. Waitress asked manager about it and they kept saying it was for a small starter. We were unaware we order a large starter as waitress didn’t say anything when ordering. Manager came over and was not nice. Kept blaming us for not reading and stated menu says that. Menu doesn’t say the difference between a large or small starter. Bad business model over a $12 coupon. Definitely not worth the money and wouldn’t go back!!"

"Enjoy the dinner a lot, was just me and my spouse. I didn't give it five stars only cause they brought out my pizza before my salad. Salad should be first lol. They boxes the pizza for you when done. Did the same for dessert. I peered my pizza with some Peroni beer. I would say this is the best pizza in Ankeny."

"Excellent coal brick oven pizza. Service was excellent, as we went on the opening day. We got The Don and Margarita pizzas and they were both excellent. Great atmosphere as well!"
