"I was recently referred to Dr Schaeffer from my usual dentist for my first root canal. I had a lot of anxiety beforehand, but the entire staff is very patient and kind! Jay welcomes you as he processes paperwork and answers questions. Assistant Alex is ready to answer questions or to research until she can! Dr Schaeffer is extremely calming, knowledgeable, thorough and understanding. She helps you think through any decisions that need to be made. I was even snuggled into a big fluffy blanket to warm me up and comfort me through my anxiety. Alex even rubbed my arm while I received the numbing shots which was much appreciated! The care I received was above and beyond what you find these days! It was not something I wanted to do - and hope I don’t need to in the future - but if I (or anyone I know) needs a root canal, I will most certainly recommend this office! Thank you for your excellent care and treatment!"

"Very very very pleasant experience. I was incredibly nervous, but Dr. Schaeffer and her assistant (I believe her name is Kerry, I’m so sorry that I can’t remember) did a great job. They were both extremely patient and kind, and they made sure I understood everything they were doing. My appointment lasted about an hour to an hour 15 from the time I walked in the door and back out to my car. The worst part was actually just getting started, but once they did get started, it was a seamless process. I didn’t feel a thing and they made sure I was comfortable the entire time. If you’re like me and terrified of dental work, please come here for a root canal. I promise it is not nearly as bad as everyone might make you think. I will happily come here in the future if I need additional work done."

"I am nervous about dental work period. When I heard I needed a root canal all I could think of was the worst. However, Dr. Schaeffer is absolutely top notch. Extremely professional, patience, and reassurance during consultation and the actually procedure. Her attending staff was also awesome! The procedure itself felt less invasive than a filling! I was thoroughly numbed and felt nothing. As the procedure went on I felt more and more relaxed as Dr S talked me through what she was doing, why she was doing it, etc. Now I never want another root canal but would not hesitate to come back here for treatment! "I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Schaeffer. This was my first root canal and I was very nervous to the point of cold sweats and nausea just thinking about it. Dr. Schaeffer was wonderful in taking her time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. It was also very obvious that Dr Schaeffer is very careful in her work - she's not just trying to crank out numbers and work as fast as she can to get to the next patient - she takes pride in her work, doing it well to the benefit of the patient, and I really appreciate that.
