"Nice little park. Wish the Interpretive Center was open....damn COVID. We enjoyed walking a bit and seeing the buffalo and elk was an added bonus. The Playscape area would be a neat place for kids to interact. There is a little lake further in the park and has some good fishing in the spring. Nice places for picnics and get togethers in the shelters as well."

"The Jester natural playscape was fun for the kids. It is a little landscaped area with benches whose main attraction is a little fountain with a pond/pool that the kids can play in. There are natural wood blocks and other things in the water. You can see many buffalo in the fields right next door. Further down there was a separate field with Elk. There was a very nice hike nearby with a wood teepee looking thing in it (see attached pictures). There are also bathroom facilities to use at the playscape. I think Jester park as a whole is a great place for a day hike, picnic, or camping. It is very close to saylorville lake and when the nature center and wellness center open there are quite a few additional activities you can do with the kids."
