The Wheelhouse Bar & Grill

"Went to Wheelhouse to see an NFL playoff game on their big screen televisions. My son absolutely loved his bacon cheeseburger and said fries were good but nothing unique. I had a great club sandwich with a bowl of chili (a slight upgrade over standard fries) and thoroughly enjoyed my alternate combo. Service was fantastic despite being very busy that night. Wheelhouse is located in a popular strip mall so found a parking space and did some walking to the bar."

"Place was super packed before the musketeers game so it was real loud and whatnot inside I don't hold it against them. The wait time was manageable for sure and the staff are professional with finding you a table. The food was good with the expectation of traditional bar food, typical greasy fried foods and burgers all that stuff. Service wise everyone was fast and professional and waited on us with a smile on their faces even in the cram packed place. Atmosphere wise I had 3 or 4 TVs in my view one of which had the avalanche game on it so bonus points from me."

"Visited from out of town for the first time the day after Christmas. Food was excellent with a great appetizer! Our waitress never checked on us after taking our food order. When the kid from the kitchen brought our order one plate was completely wrong but with no service we just ate it. Later while finishing we up got the correct food delivered to our table. At this time we noticed our waitress drinking at the end of the bar. Shift change perhaps? We left a good tip as the guy tending bar was great, he made things right! Service rating would be 0 if not for him!"

"I’m just checking out football right now. Looking at current game between the Alabama and Texas. I’m sitting back enjoying the beer. The tall beer and Jason back watching the game. I had a good meal with jambalaya. That was awesome and I’m just checking out the atmosphere here. I have a pretty good crowd for the Iowa versus Iowa State football game after the game is over. The crowd died out but that’s to be expected."
