"Very nice and clean space. Bright colors and murals share a love of culture. Server was very nice and answered my questions about the tortillas. I had the Birria soup. There was so much I had to get a to-go cup. I feel like I want to try everything on their menu. Prices were good as well."

"STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! Walked in on a Saturday night to a completely empty restaurant, at first I thought it was weird for the place to be empty on a Saturday night, but it soon made sense. We sat down and asked for some water and got 2 bottles of costco bottled water, which was unusual cuz we were dining in. The server spoke zero english which usually means the food is about to be bomb, but unfortunately the food was the biggest disappointment. Without exaggerating, the food had no flavor at all, i highly doubt there was even a spec of salt in any of it. When we got our check we saw that they had charged us $2 per bottle of costco bottled water, THE WHOLE PACK IS $3 AT COSTCO!!!! Food super disappointing, service non-existent, and you will get charged for water when you dine in."

"Taco Loco is one of those Mexican places you rarely find in Iowa. The Mexican food is very authentic, and I could believe that I am just next to the border when eating here. The food tastes great! I recommend the quesabirria!"

"Had the tacos pastor. Meat was perfect. Super big pieces and deliciously marinated. Salsas were awesome and spicy (so be careful), but the best was a mild salsa verde. Corn tortillas were fresh, hot and high quality. Unexpected perk: the music. ."
