"This national park was a revelation. I haven’t heard much about it as compared to Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon but I was very surprised that this park is gorgeous, and super underrated! The views are spectacular, the sand stones come in different hues of red, pink and natural color. There are picnic areas and it can also be used to hold special events such as weddings! Would you believe there are petroglyphs in some of the rocks dating back 2,000 years I recommend you take the tour since there are a lot of anecdotes and stories that happened inside the park and they make for a deeper appreciation. We took the pink jeep day tour for 5.5 hours. Totally worth it! John our tour guide was very well versed with its history and he also imparted valuable information about the state of Nevada. There is a small visitor center to view exhibits, shop for souvenirs and a restroom stop."
"Absolutely gorgeous! There are so many great spots to stop at and trails to walk throughout the park. Washrooms were always decently clean but bring hand sanitizer because some don't have sinks!"
"Valley of Fire is an amazing stop to see the drastic landscape in Nevada. For Nevada residents it is a 10 dollar entrance fee out of state is 15 dollars and veterans get a dollar off. All roads were paved and it was not too crowded. The fire wave loop was a fun hike and not too strenuous. You can see big horns sheep and prong horns. See hirogliphics, petrified logs, beautiful sandstone formations and the reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, white, and purples in the formations. The visitor center has wonderful information about the park and a gift shop. There were restrooms at several stops in the park and picnic areas. When hiking in the desert be sure to come prepared with sun block, hats, water, and appropriate clothing for the season. This is a must do stop. Our whole family loved it. We made two stops in in one weekend first on Friday on our way to Zion and then on Sunday coming home. We just couldn't get enough of this park and hope to come back soon to explore more."
"This has been on my bucket list for years, and after finally visiting I sure know why it was on there! This park is incredible! I personally think it has aspects of Zion, Arches, and Canyonlands national park all in one! Very beautiful views especially when it is sunny! Hikes were fun and gave a sense of being off-trail without being too long! I was only able to explore the park for a few hours but I wish I could have spent a few days here! Crowds were minimal but that is to be expected during a weekday! I would guess this park is much busier on weekends. I did not have a problem finding parking but if it was a little busier it would start becoming a challenge to find parking. Overall I would definitely recommend this park and I will be coming back!"
"My partner and I visited this national park, and it was so worth it. We loved that we were able to see a lot of it in half a day. We visited the elephant rock(hiked a trail around it), which is very cool, and then we drove back to see seven sisters and up to rainbow vista all the way up to Fire wave. I highly recommend hiking around fire wave because you will see some pastel looking rocks not far out. We visited in February, and weather was in the low 50's. They charge $15 for non-residents."
