"Cozy and comfortable bar on the SW side of Cedar Rapids. The staff acts like they've known you for years. Food is always fresh and delicious. We like to order food to go, if we don't have time for a drink. Always pleased to make a stop here in our day."

"Nice place and great music tonight. Good beer price just couldn't get anymore. Service was not good unless you sat at the bar. We paid our bill and left and went elsewhere because we couldn't get another beer."

"The kitchen was out of chicken & pork tenderloin. Food came out fast but severely packed quality. Server was EXCELLENT. Atmosphere is definitely a good place to kick back and drink."

"We stopped by for lunch during their happy hour, so the place had quite a few people around the bar chatting, laughing, and having a good time. The rest of the place was quiet and plenty of places to sit. We waited at the front for a bit before someone let us know to sit wherever we would like. We were then promptly waited on by a kind woman who was also great with the kiddos. The food came after awhile and was fresh and hot. The burgers and fries my boys got were okay (so says the 10-year-old), but the ones that my husband and I got were delicious (we tried their signature Whisky Jo's Burger). The atmosphere was chill with awesome prohibition art and so many antique-y things to admire from the light fixtures to the art. A couple of nitpicky things... The milks my boys got were $2 a piece and were only half full (you can buy well over a gallon of milk for that price and so I would expect a full cup) and apparently tasted weird (my boys only ever drink water or milk, and all kinds of milk, so for it to taste weird is a bit disconcerting). The women's bathroom didn't have any paper towels and to throw anything away you had to physically touch the lid of a really nasty trashcan (to both open and close the trash)."

"We're visiting from out of state. Needed a breaded pork tenderloin fix, and found this place open, on Easter! They had karaoke going on, place our order, and the peek tenderloin was moist, flavorful, HUGE!"
