"Ordered original flour tacos. This location is terrible. This location will SKIMP on the amount of meat in your original flour tacos. Like one tablespoon of meat. It was ridiculous how little was in there I had to go back in and demand they add more meat. Charging 4.25 per taco there better be a lot of meat in them. Terrible."

"I am kind of upset because this is the second time in a row that I have ordered enchiladas and they dont even cheese them and my food but is cold. I live 5 minutes from here and there’s no reason my food should be cold by time I get home. This place has Jason Momoa marketing them for FREE because he loves it here and the quality is going down. Please do better, local places are always my go to and it’s giving very corporate chain restaurant."

"I have been eating at Tasty Tacos for almost 50 years. Ever since it was a tiny hole-in-the-wall on East Grand Ave. My recent experience at the south side location is not a good one. My taco was extremely disappointing. It was mostly lettuce. Lots of lettuce! The flour tortilla wasn't fresh. It had been sitting around a while before it was stuffed with lettuce. My enchilada was cold. Not at all appetizing. Put the meat back in your products and I will be back. I am boycotting you for now. This is NOT my first experience with your lowered standards. But it will be my last. I would rather go to one of the excellent taco trucks in town."

"Tasty Tacos is the best place to get soft shell chicken tacos in Des Moines and don't forget to try the poppers. Picture included. I've eaten tacos here for years. It never disappoints. Try it with their hot sauce. They are closed on Sundays. The service is always fast and friendly. You can call your order ahead of time and pick it up at the restaurant. You can even purchase their hot sauce and their taco seasoning."

"I love stopping at Tasty Tacos whenever I visit Des Moines. Staff are very polite, and customer service is on par. The building was wheelchair accessible, and they have a decent sized parking lot. ♿️ The menu has a diverse array of options, so it is easy to find something that everyone will enjoy. It is also highly affordable. I had the supreme nachos, two steak corn tacos with sour cream, and a side order of mushrooms with a fountain pop. The only downside to my visit was that the food wasn't very hot when served."
