"Nice, clean and peaceful. Came on a Saturday night and didn't have a problem with a wait. Appetizers and entrees were hot and clearly made from scratch. Always a good sign when you ask for something specially made and it's not a problem. Also, if you like hot and sour soup, this was the best I've ever had. Seriously. Definitely coming back. Worth the drive."
"I have eaten here twice now and both times the food was wonderful! The hot and sour soup is the best I have had since the Mandarin in Ames closed. Vegetables in all the dishes are fresh hand chopped and the right amount of crunch. The raises I have had to date are amazing!"
"Happy to find a decent Chinese place in the area! The store was clean with numerous areas to sit and attentive servers. My husband and I tried pan-fried pork dumplings and the lunch size serving of orange chicken with steamed rice, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. The orange chicken had a nice crunch to it as well as some spiciness. The egg drop soup was peppery with little pieces of carrot and corn in it. I would order both of those again! The pork dumpling appetizer was okay but not the best I've had in the area. These dumplings are fried only on the bottom and not all the way around. I will definitely be back to try out more of the menu! PS For the gluten intolerant folks: while we were there, I did hear someone ask about gluten-free options. Unfortunately they are unable to guarantee there is no gluten cross-contamination."
"This is the third time I’ve been here and I’ve enjoyed it every time! Dishes have generous portion sizes and everything has had great flavor. My recent trip I got the beef egg foo young and I was curious about it and I’m really glad I got it. It has a slight sweetness to the eggs underneath and a savory sauce that keeps you wanting more. I also had the hot & sour soup with had great flavor and was well balanced. We also ordered crab rangoons and they were good not great kinda too sweet for my liking. Really the only thing I would have to say wasn’t good was the stir fry side. It was dry and had a slight burnt sate to it,but it actually mixed well with my dish so it wasn’t going to waste!"
"Interesting little place. In a strip mall and the atmosphere says as much. However not a bad place to eat. The food was really good and the service was impeccable. My wife ordered the Sesame Chicken and I ordered the Beef and Broccoli and we ordered Crab Rangoon as an appetizer. Each meal comes with an egg roll and a cup of soup. All the food was delivered rather quickly. The egg rolls and the Crab Rangoon came out right away. The egg rolls were great, the Crab Rangoon were rather lacking in the stuffing department. What was there had great flavor but you were mostly eating the wrapper. The soup was delivered a short time later. The Egg Drop Soup was awesome. Flavorful and full of vegetables. The meals were next. My wife enjoyed the Sesame Chicken and it was a huge portion, my Beef and Broccoli was very good, although it was considerably a much smaller portion. Overall, very good and we will return."
