"Food is amazing. Small business with amazing food is hard to keep up with demand. Expect delays and errors. They're only human. Tried to call ahead. No answer. Tried to order ahead with pick up app. Didn't work so ordered in house and came to pickup later. Well worth the wait!!"

"They greet you as you come in with continued friendly service throughout the meal! I went there with a new friend and he ordered fried chicken with red beans and rice and a second side. I ordered the catfish with greens and mashed potatoes and was pleasantly surprised when the greens automatically came with cornbread! The food was INCREDIBLE! Everything was cooked to perfection. My greens were tender but NOT overcooked...they still had nutrients in them! The cornbread was moist and just sweet enough. The mashed potatoes had homemade gravy and the catfish was not "fishy" and tender. When I added the hot sauce to the fish it was pure de-lish!! Shug's is a smaller establishment but very clean! The bus boy clears the tables as soon as people leave which helps the place look and remain clean. Wherever you live in Nebraska, this place is worth the drive! If you have out of town guests who love a delicious southern style meal, this is the place! The friendly staff and the out of this world taste of the food is well worth it. I will definitely be back!"

"Let me start off by saying our waitresses set such a high bar in customer service. Other businesses need to take a course from them. When it comes to seasoning, they hit the spot from the red beans and rice to the greens, which all are cooked in smoked turkey. Make sure you order extra cornbread because it is fire. I must be honest the fried chicken was cooked too long and dry, but that is my only complaint."

"Very welcoming staff and amazing service, they can become very busy, but they make sure you are taken care of. Food is delicious. I had the catfish and hubby had chicken. They have kool-aid of the day and sweet tea. I most definitely will return"
