"Life guards are incredibly nice and the diving boards are good!! I was able to dive off the high dive with no problems and even got some good reactions! Amazing pool area for kids and nice slides. I really like the lily pad jumps as I call them. Overall a great experience because lifeguards actually care."
"We had such a fun time here. Great slides and diving board."
"Pool was great but the restroom/showers for a Ragbrai 2023 stop, alittle hectic. Better to find a different place to shower."
"This is a great pool. 3 water slides, diving boards and a floating obstacle course. Plenty to do. Every hour they do an adults only 10 minute swim. Kids are issued a swim band based on their swim proficiency. They will do a test. This determines how deep they can go and what activities they can do. It's actually a neat idea. The shallow area has umbrellas so you can sit in the water in the shade. You can see the whole pool so it's easy to keep track of your kids."
"We love the Carroll Aquatic Center, but we really don't have any other option here locally. The slides are nice. The guards are great. The only thing that I can warn for someone that isn't used to our pool is that you won't get a chair early in the afternoon unless you arrive right as they open. You can bring in your own chair though, and you might want to if you want to lounge and relax. The only flotation devices that are allowed are coast guard approved life vests, so save your pool rafts, floats and arm bands for elsewhere. If your little needs something to help them in the water bring a lifejacket (or puddle jumper, that's what we used!) The only other thing I wish was different - I wish older kids weren't allowed on the children's area of the pool. They have a slide and sprinkler where the littlest kids like to play. You'll often see older *unsupervised* children running through this area. The guards try to patrol it, but there are no rules against these older kids playing on this area. They can get rough. They have the entire rest of the pool - so I wish it was limited in this area, but it isn't. All in all it's a wonderful pool. (PS-if you go closer to 4pm it clears out!)"
