Casey's

"The manager here sucks at her job. The assistant manager does more at this store than the store manager does. I don't even recommend the Casey's on the east end of town."

"I'm a store manager at a casey's in Minnesota and I had a friend contact me about the experience they had at this store. My friend was checking out and questioned the final price of a purchase due to promotions that casey's is having with drinks. The cashier stomped off and wouldn't finish the transaction and told my friend to f off and when my friend was getting into her car the cashier flipped her off. She told other people not to shop there. I take pride about casey's reputation and love my job but this is horrible. My friend shops at caseys regularly because she wants to support me and the company."

"While I was checking out, I noticed that the first assistant manager whom was checking me out had a headset on playing music. I had made a request for some cigarettes he had turned around and pulled down the panel in front of where the cigarettes were and apparently had forgotten what cigarettes I had asked for, he had to reask which ones I wanted. I informed him if he didn't have his radio headset on he might have heard what I requested. He made the comment we're allowed to listen to our music, I said only if it doesn't interfere with your work. As I was leaving the store I noticed some gestures from him that he was challenging me from behind the counter, then when I stepped out of the store. he came out from behind the counter and in the middle of the store was doing the same gestures, like what are you going to do about it. This is totally inappropriate actions for a first assistant manager to be making to a customer. And he was thinking that I didn't see any of it and that it would never get reported."

"I stopped into this location over the lunch hour (12:45). There was still breakfast pizza in the warmer and very limited hot items to choose from. I thought a wrap would be the best way to go. I ordered my wrap and when I started with toppings she said oh we don't have any toppings. It's truck day. I said no toppings at all? Not even lettuce. She said no. I asked why the deli station is even open? I didn't have time to go to another location to get lunch because I was in between appointments so I took my dry wrap with no toppings and suggested that they close the station until they have everything they need. I shared my disappointment and suggestion with the clerk as well but the clerk just simply shrugged her shoulders charged full price for the wrap and sent me on my way. Service is important and there is some lessons to learn here."
