"Amazing hidden gem! There’s some beautiful rock art there as well."
"Can't go to the water due to unexploded ordinance. But it does have actual back in spaces past the vault toilet. Absolutely fabulous sunset. People do use the toilet at all times of night. Park past them."
"Great Secluded Place to boondock! Free camping up to 14 days. Great view of Walker lake. The town of Hawthorne is about 16 miles away so bring what you need. Pit toilet on site. Needs cleaning. Be aware. Bring your own firewood."
"Super cute place. Yes in the middle of nowhere but it’s a great place to pull off and take some pictures."
"If you have a 4x4 you can get close to the water when you camp. I have stayed there 3 times and was the only one. You can stay above on pavement and I am sure it is still nice. Good stop over Reno Vegas. Valted toilet is standard."
