Milwaukee Wiener House, Famous Since 1918.

"I grew up in Iowa and this is one of my favorite places to go. Now I visit family in Omaha Nebraska but every time I take the trip to Milwaukee Wiener for the famous Coney dog. They have been in business for a VERY long time. They taste is the same. Awesome!"

"So good! You have to come for the Memories the nostalgia! It's like you step back in time the line might be long but the food is so good and it goes so fast! Highly recommend trying to chili dog although the shakes pies and hamburgers look delicious too!"

"Decided to stop and sample a Milwaukee Weiner as we passed through Sioux City. The history brought us here. My husband ordered a chili dog with cheese and a Barker – I ordered a plain dog with mustard. Excellent hot dog dinner! The buns were soft but not doughy – the chili seemed homemade and wasn’t spicy – the kraut wasn’t too soggy. The service was excellent, friendly, and fast. The dogs were served on real ceramic plates. A dog is a dog – but these are the best we’ve ever had, and it was refreshing to get the kind of service that was rare even pre-covid. We dined during off-peak hours in a spotless dining room. While we were there – the window service was hopping. I'm not one to normally rave about hot dogs, but Milwaukee Weiner is the real deal. The history of the place is enough to bring in any hungry traveler, but the food, and service will keep you coming back."

"We stopped here traveling just looking for a quick place to eat and it sounded good. The dogs came fresh off the grill with nice warm, soft buns. Topped with homemade flavorful chilli, mustard and onions for a nice crunch. I definitely couldn’t get dogs this good when I visited Coney Island a few months ago or for the price. The boys who made our dogs were very nice. The atmosphere has old diner type feel. All and all was a great experience"
