"My experience dealing with them as property managers for a condo complex I used to live in was terrible. My wife and I bought a unit back in October 2022. We did everything we were supposed to do to make sure we were buying a unit without issues. We had it inspected, reviewed the disclosure in detail, did the final walkthrough, etc. But even after doing all of this, shortly after closing we started having water coming up through our floors. The person we had to deal with at Stanbrough Realty, Jeff Killpack, seemed to always be annoyed when we would call to try and get updates. Thing is, if we didn’t call then we rarely ever heard from him. It took him over a month to get someone to come assess the situation and it wasn’t until February of 2023 that any repairs were started. I recall very vividly the stress my wife and I were in because of this situation and the fact that he had absolutely no empathy and demanded we had to be patient (when we were practically at risk of being left without a place to live in) was disgusting. What is worse is that it became almost impossible to find him when we would call in to check on the situation, we started wondering if he was actively avoiding us and whether he was invested at all in trying to help us resolve the issue. Most of the times when he would show up at our unit to meet with any of the experts that were coming over you could tell he was visibly annoyed and that he was just trying to see if there was anything he could find to put the blame on us to get the situation off of his hands. It is now March 2024 and it’s been about a year and a half since we bought our unit and we were never able to actually live in it because the issue was never resolved. Things reached their breaking point when the HOA board refused to pay to replace our damaged floors even though we had checked and confirmed with Jeff Killpack at the beginning of this ordeal that the HOA would be responsible for our damaged floors. The HOA and Jeff Killpack tried to play semantics with us and find ridiculous excuses as to why our damaged floors would not be replaced by them even though Jeff had told us they would back in 2022. We ended having to sell our unit at a $63000 loss because of everything that happened. Even at that point Jeff made sure to be difficult to find. The buyer needed some documentation from him and he never replied to my calls or emails. He even charged $50 to the buyer for a stupid affidavit stating I didn’t owe anything to the HOA. My pregnant wife and I went through a living nightmare for the past year and a half, and Stanbrough Realty/Jeff Killpack helped make it all that much worse for us. Stay away from them, they don’t care about people, they don’t enjoy what they do, they just care about the money and themselves."

"They don’t fix anything. Apartments are dirty. Instead of fixing things they just told me “you can leave.” Moldy AC they cleaned it but then there was still mold flaking out of it. They suggested we don’t use it. Now when running the heat it smells gross. There fish creek apartments in Norwalk are trashy."
