"Nice hike with separate trails from easy to difficult! You can easily miss the loop trail near the falls so lookout because this is not a short hike if you want a complete experience! Around the falls is shady but past that it's very sunny! Don't drink Starbucks before lol I got sick but that's my own fault lol"
"Yellow trail on map. Moderate intensity. Beautiful and well worth views. Loose rocks and some interesting winding areas with a few bicyclists. The 2nd most difficult of the area and ash is 8 miles. Overall, it was a nice loop with some shade, though mostly sunny. 4.4 mile loop, and for us, was 16k steps. Great time to go as the watershed from snow is great."
"The Upper Kings Canyon Waterfall is a great place to visit if going to King Canyon. The hike up to the upper falls is about a 1.25 mile hike from from the parking area, and climbs in elevation but is well worth it for the scenery and waterfall."
"It's an OK waterfall, the Lower is better though (and much easier to get to). It's about a mile and more importantly 1000' vertical to get to the upper falls. The hike there does provide great views of the Carson Valley."
"Beautiful! Hiked yesterday (12/29/18) using the Upper waterfall loop. The total hike is 4.4miles. The weather was perfect. Some parts are icy and you will be walking on snow. Be very careful since some areas are steep and narrow. Dress in layers, proper footwear, and carry hiking essentials(whistle, compass, water, first aid kit, etc). It’s 3.1 miles from the main parking lot to the wooden bridge/upper waterfall. Well worth the hike. The view is spectacular as you get closer to the waterfall. This waterfall is slightly smaller than King’s Canyon waterfall, but just as beautiful."
