"Third sushi joint I’ve been to in Iowa. Food was good. Very tasty and a large menu of options. Place was crowded so the service was slower than expected. We were a group of 6 plus a baby. Table was plenty big enough for all of us. Plenty of parking options. Would definitely come back again."
"Crab Rangoons and Salmon Sashimi were both very good, but the Spicy Seafood Ramen was so disappointing I don't know if I want to come back to try anything else. There was no perceivable spice in the ramen at all. There was a lot of seafood in it, and thank goodness for that because it was the only thing that gave it any flavor. The broth was very weak. The noodles were thin and unsatisfyingly chewy. Not the good kind of dense chewy, but slightly rubbery and reminiscent of instant ramen. Mushrooms and tomato were an odd choice for ramen too, but I didn't mind them. I guess all the care and attention goes into the appearance, not the taste. I expected this place to be better though given the price. It's more expensive than even some upscale ramen in California, but tasted worse than even the very cheapest ramen there."
"Really not super impressed with what we ordered. The Spicy Maki roll is not worth it in my opinion. I would have rather ordered single rolls rather than ground mush. The spicy Mexico was pretty good nothing special. Me and my wife ordered the spicy sesame chicken and it was pretty bland. The sauce was all in the bottom of the bowl and was like soup. If the sauce was thicker and coated the chicken it would be better. Lastly it wouldn’t even say any of the spicy items had any spice whatsoever. If I’m in the area I’d consider coming back and trying something else. Edit went back and tried the Spicy Kimchi Ramen and it was the same thing no spice, not a lot of flavor and the noodles I’m guessing were from a package."
"The restaurant is beautiful! The food was not worth the drive and the money. The sushi was disappointing. Bread crumbs mixed with the sushi. Ugh. The ramen had packet quality. Also kept being reminded how expensive the food was. Was ready to leave."
"The atmosphere was welcoming. However, it did take us awhile to be served. The lemonades are a must try. I’m not a fan of sake so I wouldn’t order it again. The food did come out all at once. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. They had the perfect texture and flavors. The kimchi fried rice is a must try! The egg was beautifully placed on the rice and it had so much aroma and flavors. The ramen was bland and would not recommend. The broth isn’t as flavorful as I would’ve hoped."
