"This guy is an absolute joke. I drove 13 miles to his rented "law office" and he wasn't even there. He ignores of phone calls and emails. He then shows up day of court. Tells me my final charges are 106$. For the fine, the court costs. Etc. I then get a letter saying my taxes are being withheld for 395$ The guy LIED straight to my face about total charges. I'm now being charged 80% more from the original 106$. Don't take a public defender in Iowa. They are on a profit agenda, to overcharge taxpayers. There's a special place in Hell for you."
