"Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was nice, the food was AMAZING and the servers were attentive and friendly. We ordered the Naughty Geisha and a beer; the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer. fried rice with steak and shrimp as our entree. EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!!!!!!! I’ll definitely be back and I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves a Hibachi restaurant. The only thing that I saw that was disappointing was the condition of the bathroom. The ladies room was nasty, funky and in need of a remodel/upgrade. Other than that it was a great experience."
"My first time in a restaurant such as this it was pretty awesome watching them cook and do tricks and how they would pull the restruanteers into the show. It was amazing food as well. The only exception was the salad. Did not like the ginger dressing. Otherwise all great!! Was a perfect date night!!"
"They have the cool chef's that flip the spatula and do cool tricks while cooking. I highly recommend this as entertainment and eating venue. I had the Filet and shrimp combo for 34 dollars, and it was good. The filet had minimum fat content and was very good. First time considering this place, take my advice and go and enjoy it. You're welcome."
"Gengi is our favorite hibachi place in Omaha! (We’ve been to them all) phenomenal for birthdays, special occasions, or just because. This is the perfect restaurant with or without kids, it’s the perfect dining experience. We had Andre as our bartender for some pre dinner drinks, and he was welcoming, personable and friendly. Also the drinks were delicious and looked great. For dinner, our chef was Antonio and he was seriously awesome! He was welcoming to all guests, funny, entertaining and cooked our food perfectly. Thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable. We will definitely be back again and again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"
"Took the family here for my son's birthday. While we usually enjoy our night this time was much different. We sat at our table over and hour waiting for a chef. Was told the chef we got was there best but he barely spoke and everything he did was basic. The food was pretty good but we were so ready to just leave that it really ruined the birthday. Not sure we will select Genji the next time.."
