"DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM SAM'S CLUB!!! They promise a warranty and free flat repair, but REFUSE to do it due to the "Covid-19" excuse, send you to another tire store, with no reimbursement!!!"
"This is the second time I purchased my tires at this club and I expected if not great, at least a normal maintenance when required. I had a flat tire and I get an appointment after two weeks. The reason they say is they don’t have enough personnel to work. So much for being a plus member! What am I supposed to do in an emergency? I am taking my business to the discount tires here after and never coming back who have offered to fix my tire for free on the same day I called."
"Had an appointment here to replace all four of my tires and purchased them from Sam's. At the first appointment I went to, they ended up calling me about 20 minutes after I gave them my keys to tell me they couldn't find the locking lug key so I would have to go buy one from a dealership and reschedule. I took my car over to my moms a few days later and her fiance looked and found the locking lug key in my car in about 2 minutes. At the next appointment (which was probably 2-3 weeks later) I didn't have the physical Sam's card because it was my moms fiance's but I did have a photo of it and he had been with me to the first appointment where we literally purchased the tires so they were already paid for. I got through the door of Sam's fine showing them the photo of the card but the employee at the tire center was very rude stating that I need a physical card. Upon walking out there was a nice older lady at the door that asked me if they had helped me, I stated "no" and was probably visibly annoyed with how I was treated in the tire center. I told her the situation and she informed me that I could get a temporary card and that should be able to work. Why would the employee in the tire area not tell me that? Beats me. So I got a temporary card and they finally got me checked in. I waited for about another 20 minutes when I got another call. They "couldn't get my back tires off" because of rust/the key was jamming and told me they'd replace the front two but basically the other two were my problem. Aren't you a tire company? Long story short I ended up taking my car to Goodyear and they got the back tires off and informed me it barely took any extra effort to do so. The only decent thing (if you can call it that) that came out of it was the manager offered to reimburse me for getting the back tires done at Goodyear. Was pretty unapologetic about it. All around terrible experience and will not deal with them ever again."
"They have one appointment every hour and their 4 bays are always empty. Would be nice if they'd hire enough to focus on tires."
"For years I have been a die hard Sam's Club(8162) fan. I have loved their tires and everything else. My tires that I bought there did not make their warranty life span. I took the vehicle in to be looked at for new tires. They take the paper work that I have (also copies on their computer system) and tell me my warranty is no good because I haven't had them rotated often enough. Funny thing is I used to work for Sam's club tires and I know the importance of this. So instead of looking at the computer to get the rest of the paper work they say sorry have a nice day. Dont even try to help us. Better yet I speak with the manager and he says okay thanks for letting me know! That's it no offer to find out more or anything. Sam's club has gone so far down hill on customer service over the years especially the tire department. I'm at theisens to get tires now. If you have a Sam's club membership skip the hassle of the tire department."
