"Very accommodating. On-sure complimentary notary."
"Wouldn't cash a check with the bank listed on the check because it was over the limit. Really? Then had the nerve to ask if I wanted an account there.............hmmm....NO"
"DO NOT TRUST THE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF EARNING $250 ON THE FLYER THAT WAS SENT IN THE MAIL!!!!! After I opened the account and followed through with all of the requirements outlined with the promotion I was told that they are “adding 30 days to see if I meet the requirements”. The flyer states within 30 days of account opening you receive the $250 bonus. Now I’m being told they can go as long as 60 days. They Do Not state that anywhere in their advertising! This is indeed false advertisement! Why would anyone want to continue to do business with a company who does not follow through, falsely advertises promotions and jerks you around. Then the customer service is EXTREMELY poor! I called Des Moines the representative I spoke to in Des Moines then transferred me to Cedar Rapids she didn’t even tell me that she was transferring me! The rude manager Matt Tepley didn’t tell me that I was talking to Cedar Rapids until a series of questions that were basically me trying to figure out how this rude individual was connected to me and who he was. I was dumbfounded to learn that he was the manager of the branch. He was rude and spoke to me as if I were a child or a dog. I was offended and so upset at his short and curt responses to the extent that I asked to speak with his manager. His manager Lisa Baker was extremely nice and apologized for the service that I have received thus far. However that doesn’t take away from the fact they are running a promotion and not following through. I just want them to “make good” so to speak and follow through. I will contact my attorney to see if this falls under false advertising and would not care to do business with a company that thinks this is okay."
"Bankers Trust was my first bank account, and I’ve been with them ever since. I almost switched, as it might’ve been more convenient, but it was the customer service that kept me there. Now, even though I no longer live in Cedar Rapids, and it makes it a trip to visit the bank in person, I still don’t want to go anywhere else."
"Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. They were absolutely lovely when I first switched to them, now their customer service is absolutely awful. I’m in the process of switching to Wells Fargo and it will be a great day once the transfer of accounts and refinance of my loans is complete. Good riddance Bankers!"
