"Still my favorite resort in the country...by far. Great staff throughout the resort. All very nice and helpful. The fastest Starbucks ever too!"
"Awesome resort offering a great variety of terrain from beginner to super advanced. The resort now connects to alpine meadow which offers way more option to ride. The other side of the mountain is accessible by the gondola and takes about 15min to connect. There are great views of Lake Tahoe as well"
"First time here, highly recommend. Absolutely gorgeous, came during the week so it wasn’t very crowded, snowed on us the whole time so lots of fresh powder, awesome runs and trails. Will return. Friendly staff no matter where we went."
"Palisades is a world class ski resort for a reason. It's definitely not a mountain for beginners learning to ski, but there are a few green runs that would be fine for practice. We frequent Shirley Lake and Granite Chief, which has a great mix of advanced blues and challenging black runs. It can get crowded, so we make sure we're on time for first chair. Alpine Meadows is a hidden gem; less crowded than Palisades with gorgeous, wide open runs all over the mountain. The Base to Base gondola rarely has a line and is really convenient to be able to traverse both mountains. Chamois is a classic for aprés but definitely fills up after last chair, and Wildflour has great cookies for an end of day treat."
"Palisades, a great mountain to ski! Variety of runs for beginner to expert level, packed into a small footprint. I visited during this past holiday weekend. Lines were extremely long snow was not great. I have been skiing here for years and look forward to returning with better snow"
