"I took my car to this shop. They quoted me $468. A week later, I'm calling to ask when a good time to pick up my car. They tell me there's an issue they need more time to check into it. Two weeks later, they quoted that its going to be an additional $1,4**-ish dollars totaling around 2k. I said I didn't have that kinda scratch. We couldn't work anything out. So then they leave my car on the road so it'd be impounded taking my plates off. My car battery was magically dead as well. Then, I had to pay to get my car out of the impound."

"Honest, thorough, and fast! What more could you ask for from a mechanic? The crew at Star Auto fanatic! They have great at getting me in and out quickly. I had two issues recently. First, my car was overheating on the interstate due to a coolant leak. I limped it to a gas station and filled it with antifreeze, then called Star, and they got me in right away and were very thorough in investigating the cause. It turns out the radiator cap went bad. Cheap fix due to their honesty. Secondly, I had a check engine light. The scanner showed a misfire on one of the cylinders. Again, they did a number of things in troubleshooting, and it turned out to be a loose connection and only charged me the $40 diagnostic fee."
