"An amazing amount of parking for the river. Should you have the need to van camp, the back grounds are a "dead-end" and safe while having a porto-potty."
"I have used the Tahoe City Transit Center for many of my Bike and ride experiences in the Lake Tahoe area. They cover a large area of the North/West side of Lake Tahoe, on time and very friendly service."
"This transfer hub/station has bathrooms available and place to charge your phone in-between. There are bicycle lockers available here also though looks as though seldomly used. Those Rim trail accessed from foot path out of here west."
"Not reliable. Too few buses to get one around. If u come to Tahoe u will need a car unless u only want to stay at the ski villages. But to get to different beaches, crystal beach, emerald beach, South lake Tahoe...u need a car. Lake Tahoe trolly starts at 10 at Tahoe City and u won't arrive to South lake Taho for 1 hr. 15 min, thus u will miss all the tours. Even the lunch tours because one u arrive in South lake Tahoe at 11:15 , u have to walk to the marina....lunch tour boats leave at 11:30, u won't make it. From Crystal beach to south lake Tahoe, it took me just under 4 hours. ... I started out from Truckee, however so my wait for the buses is longer. Got on my first bus at 6:40am, it's now 9:28 am and I'm in Tahoe City waiting for the 10am trolly to South lake Tahoe, see.... it's not worth it!!!"
"Great parking lot. Slept here for about three nights straight. No one bothered us and it was quiet. We left each day with our activities and returned late in the evening to sleep. Bathrooms are good but closed at night but were available every morning. The cell service is good."
