"Campground Review: AWESOME! We booked this place site unseen after having a not so great campsite about an hour an half away. BIG RIG FRIENDLY! This newly constructed campground was everything we needed to accommodate our 41’ rig, family and the staff was very friendly! The bathhouse rooms have a private toilet, shower and sink with coded entry- I loved this as a Mom with younger kids. The pond had some massive fish- but be sure to wear your tennis shoes or boots when fishing, there are a lot of prickly thistles around it. That didn’t stop us though! The kids made it onto the fishing hall of fame wall with their Northern Pike catch. Sites are water and electric, with dump station. Free water park passes for up to 4 people when you camp. Shuttle to and from the water park. If we ever return to SD from Illinois, we will be back here!"
"Stayed at the campground and spent a day at the water park. Camp ground was nice, great water pressure, and fantastic amenities! Fire pits included!! The water park was fun as well, prices were fair, and free go carts and bumper boats!"
"We stayed several days at the campground. They just opened and are still working out some kinks, but they more than made up for any minor inconveniences with exceptional service. Will definitely be staying here again. Spent a full day at the nextdoor water park. It is a nice water park that has plenty of things to do. My only criticism is the menu prices posted online do not match with actual prices. Still was a great time."
"We spent 4th of July in the campground. We didn't get a full day in the Waterpark due to weather but had a great time nonetheless. The campground is quite new with new buildings which are very nice. There are many unfinished details, mainly the landscaping and roads. It got really muddy after a thunderstorm rolled through. The roads are a little rough, they will shake stuff loose if you go too fast. My son is terrified of tornadoes and was very happy to see that they have a massive storm shelter. All in all, we had a great time. It is definitely worth the detour if you are RVing with kids on I90."
"Had a great time. I read a review before going about WWW not having enough tubes for the lazy river or lots of them being under inflated. I saw a total of 4 or 5 under inflated (it happens) but what I did see were guest hoarding them in their cabanas or people hanging out in the swim up bar for hours with their tubes. Long lines at the concession stands but it was 100°. All in all a good time the more negative things were due to the guests not the park or employees. Every employee I interacted with was super."
