Dakota Brick House

"Stopped at the Dakota Brickhouse while traveling from North Carolina. It was great to get a decent bite to eat. I was there on New Year’s Eve so they had a special menu, and I got a great salmon dish. I loved the overall atmosphere, and from what I can tell the normal day-to-day menu had a lot to offer. I’m glad I stopped there."

"We stopped in on a Friday night. Despite being busy, our server was quick and attentive. Food came quickly and all of it was amazing. We started out with the Big A*!# Pretzel, which is exactly what it claims to be. It was huge, hot, fluffy and comes with 3 amazing dips. My wife had the Brick House Burger, which she said was amazing. My son had the chicken tenders which were huge and delicious. Lastly, I had the Sirloin Steak dinner, which comes with a choice of two sauces. I chose the creamy brandy mushroom sauce, which was delicious. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection. It also came with a choice of two of four sides. I chose the side salad, which was just right, and the crispy brussels sprouts, which were excellent! Nice atmosphere here, and we were impressed! We'll certainly be back when in the area!"

"We were seated quickly despite the fact they were very busy when we walked in. Service was excellent!! Food was fantastic. I had the New York Strip Steak, which was cooked to perfection. And the sides were excellent. I also ordered the Brickhouse Bowl which was a delicious alcoholic drink! Loved the atmosphere and everything was awesome."

"This is a nice place to grab some good food. Got the fish and chips with moderate expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised that the batter had flavor and it was really good. Many places disappoint with their fish, but they did not. My daughters both enjoyed their meals as well. Even though it was pretty busy, the staff worked hard at getting us served in a decent amount of time. When I find myself in Vermillion again, I will have to stop back in."

"Very very fun bar and restaurant. They have a lot of cocktail options and beers on tap. The food comes in big portions. Very very delicious burgers and sandwiches. Sides are good too. The service was just ok, friendly but left something to be desired. The patio is beautiful. There’s quite a bit of seating but it’s a popular spot and fills up. Again fun bar with their unique specials and trivia nights and other fun events. Good spot. Love the tiki bar."
