"My young adult daughter went to Walmart because she needed an appointment quicker than our family optometrist had available. The Optometrist was rude, judgemental and condescending"
"I had an issue with a pair of glasses made in a different Walmart store. My frame broke and they told me I would need to reorder a new frame. Stopped by this vision center and decided to make a new pair of glasses. After I placed the order, since the system of most of Walmart vision center is integrated, Michael tracked the order of the glasses that were broken and told me that my frame were still under warranty. He recommended me to go after the warranty and held my new order until my problem was resolved. Indeed, the other store needed to give me a new frame for free and I ended up cancelling my order with them. Their honesty and desire to do the thing right saved me $350. Now, they got a customer for life :)."
"I paid a lot of money for new glasses, but that amount was also for the six long weeks in which I waited before receiving a non-defective pair. I initially received a pair that had a scratch on one of the lenses. The individual who assisted me said that I could use the pair that I received while waiting for the replacement lens. I found myself calling the vision center numerous times; no one notified me as to why the lens did not arrive. After making another inquiry, an employee finally contacted me and said that the lens-making facility was waiting for the frame that accompanied the faulty lens. In other words, a significant amount of time was wasted because the worker who stated that I could keep the glasses that were originally shipped did not retain them so she could send them back! The optometrist who administered my eye exam was a tad pedantic, but the inconvenience of the major delay in receiving a problem-free pair of glasses was the worst aspect of dealing with Walmart's vision center. Communication between Walmart, its suppliers, and its customers is in dire need of improvement. For future eye-health needs, I will consider places that have on-site manufacturing in addition to an optometrist and a frame/lens gallery."
"Thorough, professional and just generally seems like he cares for his patients. Doubt I will go any place else unless Dr Leonard leaves. Best eye care experience for both my son and myself."
"Where I’m from never has any available eye clinics so I’m forced to drive 3 hrs away to get an eye exam. However, after a year, I forgot which exact location I went to so I had to call several different locations to find the right Walmart Eye Center. I got on the phone with Megan and she was so patient and kind to hear me out and help. She eventually found my records and the right location even if it wasn’t in her store. But, I did appreciate she went above and beyond to extend her search just to help me. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! -Manager if you’re reading this, get your employee a raise ;)"
