"Had to write a review for Captain Bob. We had a great experience from start to finish. As noted by other reviewers he is a fisherman’s captain, who does it the right way. I have no idea what the negative reviewer is talking about. He returned my call, confirmed the trip, and even checked in the afternoon before to verify. Very easy process. Fishing was amazing. He was informative about each step in the fishing rig set ups and also explained why it was important or advantageous. He allowed us to partake in every step and worked the entire time. Even though he was doing 5 things at once, he would still try to share his experiences and knowledge of Tahoe, Adventures, and Generally everything. He’s very proud of his filleting ability and talked it up on the phone. I’m happy to share he delivered big time. My wife and I had a blast and it was everything a charter should be. Be prepared for fishing/catching and not a pleasure Cruise. If you want fish, he is the guy. If you’re looking for a great fishing trip look no further."

"We just did a fishing trip with Captain Bob the other day, and I have to say it was awesome. He knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He's VERY passionate about his techniques,and they absolutely work. The boat is very clean and there's even a bathroom. He educated us about the history of the lake while trying his best we reel in every fish that was biting. I would absolutely recommend Captain Bob to anybody for a great fishing experience on lake tahoe !"

"Captain Bob took my wife and I out for a great morning of fishing Mackinaw. He is an expert fisherman, knowing just where they are and not wasting any time getting down to fishing. The high tech gear and techniques he used amazed us. We each caught a fish before the sun was up and got our limit of two before the morning was over, with size ranging from 3 lbs to 6 lbs each. He said it was a bit slow that day, but I've been on Tahoe for years and known so many people who caught nothing at all. I was surprised at how tasty the Mackinaw was, something like a cross between trout and salmon. Yum! He is so passionate about his sport, sharing all kinds of knowledge with us, and talking about a whole lot of other things too. It was a great morning."
