"Long review but I hope this helps someone in that no one else has to experience such horrible service. By far the worst experience with a business my family and I have had. If you are purchasing large appliances from Home Depot and require their delivery/installation/hauling services, immediately request Island Movers. Home Depot contracts multiple third party moving companies, two of which are DSR and Island Movers (I think it is assigned randomly, but not entirely sure about that). The Home Depot representative that worked with us (she was awesome) throughout the whole stressful and idiotic process with DSR and the movers from Island Movers both told us that DSR has a lot of problems and negative feedback with customers and have said they don't know why the people at DSR are so bad at their job. Special shout out to the lady (front desk/receptionist perhaps?) that I spoke on the phone with to kindly communicate our problems and frustrations with them, given it took 4 months (we were told it would take 1 month) and 3 different groups of movers to come by our home throughout those months only to fail to complete their task each time. I've worked in customer service in the restaurant industry for about 10 years now so I completely understand customer satisfaction/feedback and how there are rude and entitled ones out there. But no matter how calmly and reasonably I communicated with her, she got personally offended by my feedback and concerns and said things like, "you have no right to tell us that we need to improve on our communication/service", "I don't appreciate your attitude and your words", "we are an independent contractor with Home Depot so your problem and frustration should be directed towards them and not us", "if you are so dissatisfied with our service, I'll go ahead and cancel your delivery and you can call Home Depot to ask if Island Movers can do it for you and I'll leave a memo on your order saying you were very rude and ungrateful", and so many more that left me speechless and in awe of her lack of empathy and poor professionalism. After her little outburst, she hung up on me. After getting over my shock, I called the Home Depot rep and she was able to book an appointment for me with Island Movers. Couple days later, from start to finish, Island Movers were communicative, kind, and cracking jokes with each other and with us. Got the job done within 20 minutes. It felt like I just drank a cold refreshing glass of water. They seemed so happy and chill, even during the heavy lifting and moving. One of the men shared that they knew full well what my situation was like even without knowing the details because they said they get a lot of people switching from DSR to Island Movers."

"By far the worst delivery company i've come across. Waited two months for a refrigerator from home depot and I witnessed their employees drop my BRAND NEW fridge and break it because of their carelessness. This could've all been prevented if they took their job more seriously. Playing around with their faces drooped the entire time. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. called their front office as well and they didn't seem to care. Horrible way of doing business."

"Ordered a stove through Home Depot. Paid for installation. The delivery driver just left stove OUTSIDE the house. Didn’t install it. Didn’t even bring the box inside. According to him, there was discoloration on the outlet. I needed an electrician to test it. I took a look, wasn’t discolored. What I saw was just dust. Wiped it off. He Said electrician needs to call his boss or he won’t install it. Told him electrician came to fix the stove, tested the outlet and determined the old stove was broken. Needed a new stove. Hence, why u are here. Asked him if I get the electrician to call ur boss when will u install it? He said dunno, depends on the schedule. I informed him he was full of bull excrement and lazy."

"They came to deliver and install a new refrigerator through Home Depot. Left the refrigerator in the middle of the kitchen and did not hook-up the water line. We end up with no water in the house, no working refrigerator, and puddles of water on the floor."

"Every morning their Ryder trucks block the parking at the Ka Uka 7Eleven. They sit in their trucks eating breakfast while their big trucks block customers from driving and parking"
