"Atif behaved as if he cared about my case against AirBNB up until it was actually time to do actual work. I signed his retainer agreement, agreeing to pay him a significant portion of the judgement/settlement in the event that a settlement is made or if we win the case. It took him over a month to simply send the demand letter. I specifically asked him to send me the rough draft of the demand letter PRIOR to sending it out. He not only sent it out without consulting with me first but he also misspelled my name and demanded an amount that was not discussed with me first as well. When I asked him to CC me a copy of the demand letter, he rudely replied that he will send it "when he can". Half of the time I couldn't even get a hold of him at all, and when I was able to get him on the phone, he was always telling me that he hadn't accomplished anything for my case. I finally got fed up with his unprofessionalism and turtle pace and formally asked him to resign as my representation. After doing that, I requested for him to send me a copy of the certified mail receipt so that I could move forward with my 2 cases pro per. That was over a month ago and he still hasn't emailed me the receipts. I get the feeling that this guy takes whatever case he can get his hands on and if you're not among one of his clients that have larger demands, you basically aren't important to him. Complete waste of time. All he did was stagnate the progress that I was making representing myself. I strongly advise finding someone else that I willing to do some actual work on your case, because this guy is a fraud."
