About the Maui Coconut Tour
Maui Coconut Tour is located at 225 Punakea Loop in Lahaina, Hawaii. Our tasting tour begins with a look at our natural farming practices, where we show you how we create healthy living soil on our farm. You'll have the opportunity to taste fresh Hawaiian coconuts straight from the tree, learning about their health benefits and culinary uses at different stages of maturity.
Punakea Palms is a family-run coconut farm nestled in the West Maui mountains, where we focus on promoting natural farming and educating visitors about the wonders of coconuts. With over 250 mature coconut trees producing fruit year-round, our farm benefits from Maui's ideal growing conditions and abundance of sunshine.
In addition to coconuts, we also grow a variety of native tropical fruits and plants, such as bananas, papayas, and avocados. Our interactive tours offer a unique learning experience for visitors of all ages, with stunning views and a charming gift shop and cafe on site.
Guests have raved about our informative and engaging tours, praising our knowledgeable guides and the opportunity to taste different stages of coconut fruit. Reviews of Maui Coconut Tour
"Educational and fun tour where you'll learn everything you ever wanted to know about coconuts and coconut trees. Taste the coconut across every stage of harvest. Enjoy drinks at the cafe made with their coconuts straight from the farm. Recommend using a little bit of mosquito repellent on your legs if you're sensitive."
"We really enjoyed learning so much about the coconut, both the cultivation and uses! Kai was a wonderful host, the setting is beautiful, plus getting to try three different types of coconut (waters plus meat) was educational and delicious. This is a very child friendly agro-tour."
