"Toshi did amazing for our event and we had so much fun! He was very understanding when we told him we didn't expect much dancing because our centerpieces were bboard games. He took that in stride, but lit up when everyone got on the floor and started to dance! I don't think all that many games got played, but that is the best problem to have! He was perfect for our event and we recommend him for anything you want music for. We had a few meeting to set up our thoughts and he took care of us very well. We did not have a day of coordinator so he did amazingly as wrangling our guests as DJ and emcee."

"Toshi went above and beyond for our wedding!! We have interviewed a handful of DJs/MCs and decided to go with him due to his professionalism, warm personality, and also his amazing taste in music. During planning, we ran into a strict noise limit issue unfairly set by the venue outside of our contract. Toshi jumped on it and took the initiative to meet with the venue owner and even came up with a great back-up plan to rent silent disco headphones. He even helped negotiate the cost for us with helped TREMENDOUSLY as we were already pushing our budget. This was a huge success and our guests loved it! Our ceremony and reception sounded great, even when the neighbors began mowing their lawn loudly while we were saying our vows. Toshi and his team instinctively turned up the volume so that everyone could hear. Reception looked AMAZING with the uplighting and could not have been happier! I highly highly highly recommend Toshi and his team. You're paying for professional, easy to work with, and someone that genuinely cares about your event."

"First and foremost, if you are lucky enough to discover Toshi, you have found your DJ! Toshi absolutely brought the house down at our wedding last year and we still have people commenting how great he was and what a amazing time they had dancing for 3 non-stop hours at the gorgeous venue of loulu palm on the north shore of Oahu. Our wedding coordinator Linda recommended him and we are soo thankful she did, especially getting married in 2021 with all of the craziness going on. From the first phone call, you could tell he was a true professional in his craft and was very thorough, organized, and helpful in answering any and all questions. He laid out our rough timeline for the wedding and we felt at ease knowing we had a plan and timeline to work with from the start. Music wise, we sent him a Spotify playlist of a wide variety of songs to understand our music taste and a couple must plays with it. He was very straightforward in giving us the option to choose our music and was very open as he understood it is OUR DAY! That’s another item that stood out to us about Toshi as a DJ and the emcee for the wedding is that he was very conscious of making sure it was ALL ABOUT US and that we were having a great time! He listened to all of our ideas, provided honest feedback, gave his own ideas, and we had a well thought out music timeline of welcome music (he brought in a friend Kapu to play guitar which was amazing), ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing! My wife and I took the mindset of letting Toshi do what he does best with the info provided to him music wise and just let him do his thing and we are still blown away at how well that turned out! Between the lighting set up around the venue, motion lights, sparklers, song variety, custom remixes, smooth transitions, and emcee host, Toshi is as good as it gets for your big day! If I could give 10 stars I would. Do yourself a favor after reading this and give him a call to end your search. This is not an item on an event budget to skimp on as we have all been to events where the DJ is a dud and takes away from the overall experience. Toshi will bring the party to you in a professional and organized manner and provide a day/evening you will always remember! I highly recommend to give him the reigns and let him do his thing! "Toshi and Spectrum were AWESOME! You won’t find a better DJ, MC, lighting and/or sound company for your wedding or any event. Toshi is extremely professional, but laidback and fun at the same time. Just what you want in the DJ, MC, lighting and sound company you work with for any event. Spectrum provided us with sound equipment for our ceremony and reception, lighting equipment that set the mood in the ballroom for the reception, as well as DJ and MC services. Toshi will help you customize your package to select the services you want/need for your event. He was happy to help us coordinate getting a slideshow up at our wedding when we made the request 48hrs before the day of. We had asked for a simple projector just to show a picture slideshow, but he went above and beyond and brought his LED video board that was AMAZING behind the DJ table. The lighting and sound equipment were great and definitely helped set the mood, but Toshi is the secret to this business. His charismatic laidback energy makes him THE PERFECT personality to DJ and/or MC weddings and other types of events. I cannot say how much we appreciate everything Toshi and Spectrum did to make our wedding day special."
