"Rachel and John are well-known all through this region. As I drove to Gerlach, I heard about Rachel's famous egg separator and the unique style of pottery. If you are an artist and you would like to learn about making pottery in the desert... It is here where you will need to visit. Rachel also paints and her work is unbelievable. I picked up a mug to help remind me of the hills in the desert and warmth of the sun. All pottery and works of art do just that... Help you feel the sun. IF you have some time, a quick chat with John and Rachel is really great too. They have been working in the area for more than 20 years. Their website contains videos and contact information for Planet X Pottery. Parking is well marked. There are four galleries to look at the pottery. Shipping is an added cost. Take a stroll on the Artwalk too. Well worth the stop. **You may want to avoid Burning Man as the roads can become busy and the town of Gerlach can swell."
