"We used Superior paint in May of 2020 to have our interior painted before moving in. Noah did such a great job. So who else would we call for our exterior - Superior painting. Noah addressed all our needs and concerns. Explained in detail his process for getting the job done. His crew were great and cleaned up after each day of painting. Best of all we love what a great job they did! It's like looking at a new home everyday! Puts a smile on our faces. We would definitely use Noah again. Thanks Noah and crew!"

"Cons: Paint on new $40K wood floors. Paint on new $2500 table + chair. Caulk on new $40K wood floors. Many areas required touch up. Cabinet doors not put back on properly. Also area of cabinet was not caulked properly where meets with kitchen wall. Looks hideous. I had to repair. Did not sand areas properly just did a paint over. I had to go back over areas he should have sanded first. Seams on baseboards were not caulked properly. Floors and furnishings were not properly covered or masked prior to starting job. Left kitchen cabinets in my garage for two weeks prior to painting. It was not done in proper sequence or timely manner causing extreme hardship on me and my wife + dogs. Left waste paint bucket in garage over multiple days which I caught one of my dogs drinking out of. I had to clean up his mess and waste. Workers left my water hoses out and unrolled up after daily uses. Drug water hoses across flower areas, causing damage. Overall attention to detail was lacking requiring double work. There are still areas I have to fix or retouch up which should not be my responsibility but these are things my wife and I noticed weeks later. Pros: Overall a decent paint, however the road to get there was quite hazardous. I had to touch up endless spots and I’m still having stuff I see weekly if not daily. He did address most problems or redos without hesitation. Used quality materials and paint. He is very responsive. Worked a full day and showed up when he said he would. Which for Kauai is rare. Summary: I cannot say I would recommend them for painting the interior of a home. They were messy, and the attention to detail was lacking. I also had to point out many areas that needed touchup, areas of missed painting or some type of situation needing addressing. As the homeowner you shouldn’t have to do that. It should be the painters job. However, I would likely recommend him for painting the exterior of a home. I’ve seen quite a few exterior homes he has painted in my area and they look great. Unfortunately he won’t be painting mine because I refuse to use them for anything again based off the experience we had with them. Updated photos of more problems found after going through the house. Definitely not superior. One wall clearly needed another coat and it wasn’t done. Paint chipping off spots because proper sanding techniques were not utilized. Painting of under the trim wasn’t done, this is just one photo. They are all like this. Clearly didn’t paint the shiplap properly, now I have to touch all the up and repaint the kitchen rear wall where pencil marks from the drywall were. Also paint coming off on cabinet’s yesterday from where blue tape was applied months after curing. Very disappointed and feel like we got ripped off a bit. He used my paint as well and did not deduct the cost of a 5 gallon emerald, and two semi gloss gallon emerald as he said he would. The initial quote was the same and end cost this is how I know. Cash discount doesn’t count, that was something to benefit the business owner. 15k to paint the house. This should have cost no more that 10k for the type of job done. Highly not recommended for interior painting.I worm adjusting the review to 2 stars. I would expect from hiring someone off Craigslist, definitely not from a reputable local company."

"Superior Painting is a top-notch operation. Noah and his crew are professional, punctual, reliable, and good at what they do. They did a great job painting the exterior of our multi-floor house. Extensive prep work and meticulous attention to detail made the house sparkle. The price was very fair, and unlike many painters on the island, they use top-quality paint which I know will last longer than the cheap stuff. From the initial quote (which was provided promptly) to completion, the job could not have gone more smoothly. Communication was excellent so I always knew what was going on, and I appreciate the advice that Noah provided. I would not hesitate to hire Noah again, or to recommend him to my friends and family."
