"Management company and owner failed to inform us that there would be daily major reconstruction on the unit we shared a wall with. Spring break. Unbelievable. Location of end unit is prime, but the unit is shabby. Dark and dirty tile grout throughout and in bathrooms. Tattered curtain’s bar stools, bed, and sofa. Management company shows only 5 star ratings, there is a lack of integrity there. Reviews are meant to share the truth, to show transparency with future potential customers. If I owned this unit I would not rent it as is. We were loyal Mahina Surf visitors for 11 years. This unit just feels icky."

"Great location with a stunning ocean view! Heated pool and Weber BBQs make for a superb place to hang out. Absolutely recommended place. The unit had a lovely layout with a mezzanine and has two bathrooms, though only one bedroom. Worked fine without AC in February. It is well equipped, also with beach chairs and beach toys and snorkels. I’m one star short of excellent as the cleanliness wasn’t to my standard. It needed a deep clean as some surfaces, light switches and handles/knobs weren’t clean."

"Absolute gorgeous location! We stayed in 101, just steps away from ocean and a beautiful sunset. Pool is centrally located from the whole property, shops, beaches, stores not more than a mile away. About 10 mins drive from Lahaina, property is well maintained. The unit however could use a facelift, furniture and appliance is bit outdated. Did find a lot of ants in kitchen and bathroom area. Overall, a good stay due to the vibe."

"My stay at Mahina Surf was amazing. The condo had a beautiful view and deck area that felt so peaceful. The place was clean and stocked with dishes, towels, hangers everything we could ask for. The place was spacious for our group of 5 and the location of the condo was perfect, we could walk to the beach or drive less than 10 minutes to other beaches near by. Thank you so much Mahina Surf for offering an amazing stay."

"Small condo complex on the West Side, right on the water. The small low profile boutique style resort means easy access to the pool. Not crowded and no fighting over lounge chairs. Every Condo has an excellent view of the ocean! All are individually owned, so furnishings and amenities vary from room to room. Spectacular ocean views with the Islands of Lanai and Molokai in the background makes for amazing sunsets. Small beach to the right of the property where Green Sea Turtles come out of the water to sun themselves - really cool! The condos are clean and there is friendly on-site management to assist with any maintenance needs during your stay."
