"Our pilot, Spencer, was great. He was clearly knowledgeable about the sites we were able to see and made it a memorable experience. The person that checked us in and their handling of the whole experience was not as wonderful. The way they handle the pay for parking was ridiculous. If you shell out that kind of $ for an adventure, it seems like the parking should be paid for or at least the person informing you that you are going to pay additional to park be less condescending. Sorry you pay to park where you work, but that has nothing to do with me being sidelined with another fee. Sadly, the weather didn’t cooperate, which is no fault of anyone, but the way that situation was handled speaks volumes. The person checking us in let us know our options (pretty ridiculous one of them wasn’t a refund, but okay), but when one person said they wanted to reschedule and 20 plus minutes was spent dealing with that situation, and then keeping them on the flight and just booking an additional flight that could have been done after our experience, was pretty ridiculous. In the end, our experience was cut short (we could have done more if you’d chosen to not spend time creating another booking with the customer) and after not doing the route we paid for, and having less time, you’d asked us for more $$ for a picture. Maybe consider doing something positive for your customer that would have made up for some of the shortcomings, some of which were created by your choices and attitude."

"What an amazing experience! John was so knowledgeable about the islands and all the beauty that they hold. The sights that you see you can’t get anywhere else. To be able to hover over waterfalls, journey through the mountains and pop out over the coast to the sight of a beautiful rainbow that meets you is beyond amazing! This is a must do when visiting Maui. Thank you Sunshine Helicopters for a great end to our week here in beautiful Maui!"

"I had a great experience doing this helicopter trip. The views and trip were just beautiful. I got some great pictures on my phone. They also offer a video of each trip. I've saved my pennies for a long time to be able to do this actual excursion because it's not cheap. It is worth every penny for someone like me who can't walk it is a great way to see it all.
