"We had such a wonderful experience kayaking with Willie as our guide. Recent heavy rain made the water too cloudy to snorkel but whales were moving through the area and Willie found the perfect vantage to see them and allow them to approach our kayaks. What magnificent and curious creatures! They seemed as interested in us as we were in them. A total joy to visit their world with an expert guide."
"Highly recommend kayaking and snorkeling with Kayak Olowalu. Our family of four, three of whom had never snorkled before, loved it. Our instructor was incredibly supportive and encouraging, and the coral and tropical fish were beautiful. There was even a whale in the distance! I was sensitive about going this far west on Maui given ongoing wildfire recovery efforts but am grateful we did, and for the wealth of information our instructor shared with us about Maui."
"This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip! Willy is so down to earth and knowledgeable of the area. We had so much fun and got to see so many different sea creatures. My main goal was to see Sea Turtles and Willy made sure to get us as close as possible to them! Highly recommend for older kids and adults. I would not recommend for kids under 8-10 years old."
"Nice place. Great views. Not much space for parking. Water wasn't clear. The shore is sandy but the bottom under water is covered with stones. Not sharp. Shallow water for a good distance from the shore. Probably great for kayaking but not the best beach for swimming. Sharks are in records."
"Kayaking with Willie was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui!! In a few hours we explored the shoreline and well beyond to see black tipped reef sharks and beautiful coral. Experiencing the humpback whales from a kayak is a one of a kind experience that we won't forget and certainly the highlight!!! The trip finished with snorkeling with sea turtles, many fish, and a white tipped reef shark. I can't believe we saw so much in such a short time. Thanks Willie, we will go again when we are back in Maui."
