"I bought a Groupon for my kids and I and upon arriving in Hawaii we were quarantined due to lost Covid results. I contacted the operator and they were incredibly kind and gracious. Not only did they give me a prompt refund, they showed compassion for my situation. The other tour operator I used Hawaii Ocean Adventures not only kept my money, but tried to charge me an additional $170 and were totally unprofessional. Im grateful that some honest and good companies still exist..thankyou Tim Hollandsworth."
"Highly recommend this experience. Tl/Dr: definitely want to do this again. I saw turtles, octopus, and sea cucumber and got an experience with diving scuba. Bring a waterproof camera with a wrist lanyard if you want memory's. Although, we saw turtles come to the surface too. I was literally 1 foot away from sea turtles. I recommend a snorkel and dive because your group may have a mix and if you didn't pay for one of them, you have to wait during that time. If you wanna save, you have to wait, but the staff is so friendly and patient. They won't coddle you if you don't need it but if you need help with swimming or diving, they have great tips and are really experienced. You can bring your own equipment if you like but they have plenty for you. Just bring a bag with a towel and sunscreen and you will be fine. If you start in the morning, you will be back from the ocean around 12:00 at the latest. And it will be laid back so don't go if you want everyone to bend to your will, you will have a bad time. We even had a little gecko friend on the boat"
"This is a fantastic experience, the crew guys are amazing, they are very patient and taught me everything that I need it. I really recommend them, thanks"
"I booked this trip for my husband’s birthday. I paid almost $300 for two dives. We were told to arrive by 8:30 am. We arrived ahead of time to fill out paperwork. The shop had several options for underwater pics for sale. I wanted to purchase a waterproof case for my iPhone. One of the workers in the shop talked me into renting an underwater camera that the shop carries. He said I just needed to download an app and when I got back I could WiFi the pics to my phone. We got on the boat and sat in the shade. There were about 10 of us going out to dive. We sat on the boat in the harbor for about 30 minutes waiting to leave. My husband and I, along with all of the divers, were forced to move and sit in the sun. The crew told us we were heading across the harbor to pick up snorkelers. We got to the other side to find almost an additional 20 people waiting. They got on the boat and were given all of the shaded spots. We got to the first location in the water. All of the snorkelers were allowed to get out of the boat and into the water. The crew then selected a first group of divers to go. My husband and I were part of the second group. We sat in the sun for over 2 hours before we were allowed to get in the water at all. When we finally got in to practice skills my husband was having a difficult time with his equipment. He kept saying that something was wrong and he couldn’t breathe out properly. The crew did not check the equipment or try to give him new equipment. They simply assumed he was scared to dive and pulled him in. He did not go on either dive and the crew didn’t attempt to help him with new equipment on the second dive. I went without my husband and lugged this rented camera around. I made the best of it. I took pics and videos the entire trip. The camera battery did not last and died on the second dive. When we got back to the shop I asked the staff to allow me to plug it in to transfer the pics over the app to my phone as required. The man that talked me into renting the camera took it from me and started pressing buttons. I stopped him and said I just need the WiFi turned on to transfer. He continued to press buttons. I tried to stop him again but that’s when he wiped the camera. He deleted every single pic and video from the entire trip. I got none of them. I demanded a refund. He did refund the $41 of the camera rental. We were out two dives for my husband, out pictures, and sunburned from being forced to sit in the sun so long. I am extremely disappointed with this trip. I wanted so much to do something nice for my husband’s birthday. Our day was ruined. Save your money. Go somewhere else. If I could give zero stars, I would."
