The hike was to the waterfall was fun, and informative. The waterfall was spectacular. The water was so cold it took our breath away, but cold plunges are good for you right? Best day ever. We will never forget it. You definitely need water shoes."

"This was a wonderful experience which was made so much better with our tour leader, Annie. This trip is not for the faint at heart. It is 5 miles of kayaking and 3 miles of hiking. The hiking is difficult in areas if you have any sort of mobility issues. You must also take proper footware to be safe. We used a pair of keens hiking sandals which worked wonderfully!"

"This excursion was my most favorite from the trip. Although, I feel the need to explain that it was five hours of outdoor exploring. So, not for the faint of body or heart. In my group we had 1 person struggling at the river crossing and almost slipped over the rocks a few times. The guide was VERY knowledgeable about the history of the plant life in Kauai. Me and my person are from the PNW so we loved the natural beauty of this excursion. The kayaking was fun to learn and a wonderful test to a relationship, haha. My arms had a little burn to them as well as my skin, but well worth it."

"We had a lot of fun on this tour and I’d gladly do it again on our next visit. Our tour guide was a barefooted free spirit who serenaded us at the watering hole with her drum and knew loads about the local plants and their medicinal purposes. She also shared a list of must dos and recommendations for the island. The folks who joined us on the tour were a lot of fun to get to know too. The distance for the paddle seemed just right and the river was calm and the wind wasn’t too strong due to the thick vegetation on both sides of the river. I also enjoyed being able to see a lot the fish from the boat."
