"Fantastic event location with a great staff and beautiful facilities"
"I was invited with my son Michael to a luncheon sponsored by First Foundation Bank on 3/17/23. I had never even heard of the club before. The atmosphere was lovely and the food superb. The waitstaff was excellent and the other attendee's were very cordial. The history is colorful and I hope to be invited there again, in the future!"
"I'm not a member but I was invited to hear Chris Vandercook and his band play in the courtyard. Five of us enjoyed libations, good food and good music under the stars. We started with cocktails (Vieux Carre, Empress gin & tonic, beer, something with gin that looked like a martini and a virgin Pina Colada), Crispy Green Bean Tempura and Crispy Kim Chee Calamari. This was the first time I had the green beans ... wow! How can something so simple be so good? Entrees included two Deli Meats Pizzas, a Pulled Beef Brisket Sandwich and Creamy Pesto Linguini. The food was delicious and the quite a few of the patrons were enjoying the music and dancing on the lawn. Chris Vandercook and his band played two sets and it was so good to hear live music .... nothing beats live music! I was sorry to see them stop at 9:30pm but all good things must end ... The Pacific Club is a nice oasis close to downtown Honolulu. My friend and I walked ... it was a pleasant evening with great weather."
"Princess Kaiulani heiress to the kingdom of Hawaii was born in the property. Her dad is member of the club and sell the property to the club.located at Queen Ema Street in Honolulu. In 1851 the club was founded as the Mess. The club has tennis courts, workout facility swimming poll which serve snack bar and day time dining room the Terrace , Mangos at garden Lanai bar and Main dining room. The Pacific club spanned over 150 years of history and definitely has wonderful charm."
"Beautiful private club. I met for pupus in the casual Mangos restaurant so didn't venture too far into the club itself. Looks like tennis is readily available. Valet parking if you want, a phone booth they politely suggest you use if you need to call someone on your cell, and the inability to go anywhere without a member. Which is just what you want for a private, members only club. Food was fantastic, beer selection looked great (I was facing the cooler), and my water glass never got empty! Fun if a bit stuffed shirt for me."
