"Driving range was packed with all stalls occupied. Arrived at 8:45pm. Told by the old Japanese man working the range that the last call for range balls was 9pm and that the range closes at 10pm. Asked if I could buy a bucket before 9pm and wait for a stall to open. He said NO, that I needed a stall first. So I waited since it would be at most a 15 minute wait. At 8:57pm a stall opened up, so I proceeded to the shack and the ball dispenser, where the man was locking up the dispenser. I asked if I could buy two buckets since THREE stalls had opened up at that time. He said NO, it's 9pm. Showed him my cell phone time, which said 8:57pm. He said it's 9 pm and I was too late. I didn't argue with him and left. Did notice that all the golfers on the range, including families and children, were Asians. In Mililani, that's not surprising. But did wonder if I would have been treated differently by this old Japanese man if I looked Asian. I actually am, but I don't look Asian at all. Just another observation in Hawaii.....and Mililani."
"It's one of my favorites. Great layout, good greens, nice fairways. Tree lined course in Mililani."
"I really enjoyed this course. Pretty easy play. I normally lose a bunch of my golf balls, but this course is nice and wide open with few water hazards. Not too challenging yet extremely fun. The course in its entirety was in great shape. There are a lot of trees, but they are a little ways outside of the fairway. The greens were in very nice shape. Not very fast. A couple were a bit challenging with the illusion of slope but the ball running straight. Great course to play, especially for an amateur who seldom plays like my self, or the avid golfer like was with our group who sho his best ever 79, even with a drop."
"Aloha all; this is one of the top golf courses on Oahu. They take great care of their course from the fairways to the greens. The greens are very well groomed and the fairways are immaculate. The staffing is really great as well. Just watch out when the leaves are on the ground , if you don't keep your all on the fairways it could be hard to find. At one time they had upgraded thier carts with course info package but it didn't work well so they took it out during covid, unsure if they will replace it at sometime. They also have a new owner of the restaurant and it's good. They are not open until 8am so you can't get snacks or drinks for early tee times but when you make the turn they will be open. They also have a good driving range and two practice putting surfaces as well as a chipping green with bunker. Check it out and let me know what you think."
"Mililani is back and running smoothly. I hit up the course early on the weekend to try for a single walk on. No problem. Great staff course well maintained there was league in the earlier hours so pace was a little slow but manageable and the scenery and layout was great for a fun Saturday of golf."
