"I had David Jacks as co-counsel on a child custody case. We attended a hearing together on a motion involving make-up visitation. David was brand new on the case and did not know fully what the hearing was about. While we waited outside the court to be called in, I gave him a rundown of the facts, issues, and the legal arguments I intended to present.
