"I'm a bit concerned with the management of personal information and unwillingness to provide a fee schedule. I initially stopped by in February and had a form sent to me to start the process. I was happy to have a "secure" platform on which to upload personal information. Unfortunately, the form apparently went to the main office in Florida instead of to the local preparer. I walked into the Bougainville location to bring my hard copy 1099s. The local office had a lot of problems finding my records online. Eventually, the tax preparer began reading from secure messages in his inbox - including talking about a property I didn't own (someone else's record). Meanwhile someone else's tax forms were face up in front of me on the desk (until I pointed out I shouldn't be seeing them). Another red flag happened as I was deciding whether I was at the point of no return with this process. I tried to get an estimated cost for Direct Tax services and received a condescending, "sweetie" reply with no real estimate. Needless to say, I left. However, Direct Tax has my PII and I have no confidence it is safe."

"DO NOT GO here. I made the mistake of thinking since they are next to the NEX they were partnered/sponsored by the dod and trusted them to do my taxes. This place messed up my taxes so horribly the IRS contacted me and then it took an entire week to verify my identity with the irs and correct there mistakes. I have an extremely simple filling status, I only filed here because I was very busy. I am STILL WAITING for my tax return THREE MONTHS after filing here, even after correcting mistakes with the IRS. PS this business looks sketchy because it is. Don’t make the same mistake as I have, go somewhere else."

"We used this company and the paperwork was not done correctly, even after asking questions and being reassured everything was done correctly we received a notice from the IRS stating we owe well over $3k in taxes for last year. Best advice I have for anyone considering using this company is to go somewhere else and have your taxes done."

"Do not go here! You are much better off going to a professional tax service who will take the time to ask you the right questions and ensure they are properly filing your return. I have been going here for 4 years and this is the last year I will ever go here, they have lost my business. Last year I had to go back 3x because they kept spelling my address incorrectly. This year they spent 5 mins filing my return, I confronted the tax preparer because he didn't ask me a single question, he basically just input my W-2 and wanted to charge me $305.00. After I asked him, are you going to ask me any questions? Such as: additional income? school? home office, etc? After he re-did my return to my request it was a difference of almost $2k. Had I not asked the questions, I would have left money on the table. Here was my last straw... On the paper work I did not select warranty yes or no because I didn't know any information about what the warranty includes and the over all cost. On my paperwork, with out asking or explaining the warranty he marked... DECLINED. I said excuse me, what did you just select, he said, "that is our warranty" you didn't select yes or no, I said yeah I know, you haven't explained it to me! I promise if you go somewhere else, you will thank me. If you go here, you will lose, not them. They are there to take advantage and make money on people who do not know any better! They do not live by their mission statement.... We make you our number one priority when we are working with you. We will answer your questions with honesty and professionalism. We will file your tax return quickly and correctly, and do our best to make that a pleasant experience for you!"
